Thanks to all who were able to make it to our OPEN HOUSE event last Thursday. The rainy day didn’t help in our morning “trek to Barnett Hall” – we were hopeful for a nice day instead. However, we really enjoyed getting to meet several people! Some new people and some who have worked here but never have met in person. We hope getting to see what happens in our little corner of Barnett was fun! If you did not get to come on that day, always feel free to come by! We enjoy giving tours of our department & machines.
We would like to say “Thank You” to Mike Garzanelli for providing the morning refreshments from Sodexo & crew. It was a nice treat to mingle while we snacked! We asked people as soon as they came in to write their name on a “PAW” and “Put Your Paws On Our Wall” – along with a life-sized Spike standing by! Our hope is to continue this with the beginning of the new school year for students but thought it would be fun to have staff from Truman start it off! I loved that everyone joined in & now our BIG, long wall looks so much better! We really think the students will like it when they start back!
